The band is in a stage of remodelling at the moment,taking a break while re-thinking touring strategy. Dave continues to perform solo whilst organizing the re-launch.

The gig went very well and should be secured when negotiations continue next week. We are provisionally booked for Thursdays.People seemed to enjoy although they were very much into listening rather than dancing etc etc.

Not bad today. The Macedonians were back. Every Wednesday they are in Port on their Cruise Liner.an otherwise quiet day broken by the suave tones of three drunken Macedonian men hogging the microphone for about 15 minutes.

Good afternoon which started fraught with territorial battles. The place normally occupied doesn’t seem to suit the manageress who has summarily decided to change things. However after digging in of heels the same place as normal was occupied and things got going..

Driftwood is a great place to play but there’s no shelter from the elements.Almost walked out on the gig today before being allowed to play in a place where there was a minimum of shelter.After this things improved.

Very strange gig here. Power supply problems. Sound difficult to get right,voice going off. However, great vibe, good tips and a nice atmosphere.

The place was empty at first, but got a little busier later. The ones that were there enjoyed themselves and tipped well.

Very busy but not much interest from people today. Played well but few tips. The food was actually good today as well. Most likely because Olivier the chef is off-island!!
Blindé de gens mais pas beaucoup d’intéret des gens aujourd’hui. Bien joué mais pas beaucoup de pourboires. Le repas etait bon aujourd’hui aussi,probablement parce qu’Olivier le chef cuisinier n’est pas sur l’ile.

Interesting Day. Got into a dispute with a very obnoxious woman, Was accused of “stealing” the gig by an embittered old musician.Played well and gig renewed for tomorrow.
Journée intéressant.Dispute avec une femme tres déplaisante,et accusé d’avoir “volé” le boulot par un musicien tres aigri. Bien joué.

La musique etait arretée á cause des manges-merde anti-vie et plein de pognon qui n’aiment pas la musique. La patronne a besoin d’obtenir un permis puis la vengeance sera douce…et FORTE!!!

Evening bordering on cold and the Heineken Regatta party booming away on the nearby beach made for a strange evening. People responded well.
