October/Octobre 2007….

The band used the 4 days between UK gigs to record the drum tracks for the new CD album due to be released in late spring of 2008.In Cumbria at Banksfoot near Brampton village Philippe worked hard with new found friend,musician and sound engineer Jay Myerson laying down drum tracks for 12 new songs.Go to the category “Recordings” posted on this site to chart the progress of the recording stages. Le groupe a profité des 4 jours entre des concerts en Grande-Bretagne pour enregistrer les pistes de batterie pour le nouveau CD,sortie prévue pour le printemps de 2008.En Cumbria á Banksfoot pres du village de Brampton Philippe a bien travaillé avec notre nouvel ami,musicien et ingenieur de son Jay Myerson et a enregistré 12 noueaux morceaux. Il y a une categorie “Recordings” postée ici comme journal de bord du projet.Ne quittez pas!!!.

November/Novembre 2007.
Daniel has laid down the first 4 tracks of Bass Guitar. These are probably to be re-done later

January/Janvier 2008.
Since his arrival in St Martin Dave has put down several guitar parts, some of which are final, others to be re-recorded.
Depuis son arrivée á St Martin Dave a posé plusieurs pistes de guitare. Quelques-unes de finale, d’autres á refaire.

March/Mars 2008.
Dave has been laying down guitar tracks and all but two or three are finalized.Now to the bass!!.
Dave a posé plusieurs pistes de guitare et tous sauf une ou deux sont definitives. Maintenant..La basse!!

April/Avril 2008
Daniel has recorded 5 songs and Nacio Richardson from “Bustakok” has recorded 2 songs plus 1 song previously not included for this cd… “How Long How Strong?”.This song may yet be on “Banksfoot” or if not will surely be on the next one.
Daniel a enregistré 5 chansons et Nacio Richardson de “Bustakok”a enregistré 2 chansons plus 1 chanson pas inclu pour ce cd….”How Long,How Strong?”.Cette chanson pourrait encore figurer sur “Banksfoot” ou sinon elle sera surement sur le prochain.

Dave has recorded 2 of the bass-lines,replacing Nacio’s bass on “How Long How Strong?” because of sound problems.The bass for “Thick-Skinned” will also be by Dave, There are 3 more tracks left for Daniel to record before the vocals are laid down.
Dave a enregistré 2 des pistes de bass,remplaçant la basse de Nacio sur “How Long How Strong?’ suite aux problemes de son.La basse pour “Thick-Skinned” sera aussi posée par Dave.Il reste 3 autres morceaux pour Daniel avant de poser des voix.

Daniel has put down the remaining bass-lines and Dave has recorded most of the vocals. Now Philippe has his vocals to record

May/Mai 2008.
6 Tracks are finished and 4 more are in the final stages.The band is back at Banksfoot with Jay helping out with his considerable expertise and skill with sound mixing.
6 morceaux sont finis et 4 de plus sont á l’étape finale.Le groupe est de retour á Banksfoot et Jay nous prete main forte derriere le console.

June/Juin 2008.
Back in France as Dave puts the final lead guitar on the outstanding tracks, provoking a written complaint from the neighbours;saved for posterity in the photos of the MR SKIN MySpace..
De retour en France et Dave pose les dernieres guitares “lead” sur les morceaux,provoquant une plainte ecrite des voisins;sauvegardée pour la posterité dans la section photos du MySpace de MR SKIN.

December/Decembre 2008
The recording is finished.There are finally 10 tracks to be mastered and pressed.Waiting for money(always)
